CASHLESS INSURANCE SERVICES

 

Health insurance policies are gradually becoming a necessity. The advantage of cashless hospitalization is that the individual need not make any upfront payment to the hospital for treatment.

We are empanelled with the top insurance Companies & TPA’s for providing cashless claims.

Kindly bring the following documents at the time of admission:

  1. Medical Records Department Card (MRD No)
  2. Identity Proof: AADHAR CARD
  3. Policy Copy or TPA card copy of current year
  4. Investigation Reports or any other hospitals related documents for  Supporting diagnostics of present illness

Procedures for Cashless Application:

  1. If the patient is covered under Health Insurance in our empanelled list, she/he needs to contact at Cashless Insurance Desk situated in the ground floor opposite to the registration and medical records department.
  2. For the Planned Admissions: Patient can apply for Cashless before 7days of admission.
  3. For the Emergency Admissions: At the time of admission itself, patient can apply for cashless.
  4. For Preauthorization application, the patient needs to bring the following documents
    • Policy Copy or TPA Card copy of the current year
    • Aadhar Card copy
    • Investigation Reports or any other hospitals related documents for Supporting diagnostics of present illness
  5. If the card or policy copy is valid, a Pre-authorization duly filled by the concerned doctor along with the copies of the above documents would be forwarded via E mail to the respective Insurance Company / TPA for initial approval 
  6. If it is approved by Insurance companies/TPA, IP Credit will be sanctioned till the time of discharge.
  7. If patient’s hospital stay exceeds more than 10 days, patient needs to intimate the Insurance Desk with the letter of the treating doctor explaining the present status for further enhancement.
  8. If patient needs any other procedure or surgeries, she needs to intimate Insurance Desk for Enhancement approval.
  9. At the time of discharge, Final Bill & Discharge Summary will be sent to the Insurance companies or TPAs with the signature of the patient bystander for final approval. It may take a minimum of three to four hours to receive the approval of the Insurance company/TPA.
  10. In Final approval, if the full amount as per hospital treatment bill is not approved by the Insurance company/TPA, the differential amount should be made by the patient.
  11. If the preauthorization request or Final Bill Enhancement request is denied by the TPA/Insurance Company, the patient has to settle all his bills and needs to contact the department for reimbursement process.
